Summer Associate
Arthur Law Firm Co., L.P.A. welcomes summer associate applicants to join our litigation law firm in NW Ohio. This is a full-time position for 10 weeks beginning in May, 2024. Rate is $25 per hour.
Arthur Law Firm’s primary focus is litigation in the areas of personal injury, social security disability, criminal defense, probate litigation and adoptions. The summer associate should desire to get into court and begin to build trial practice skills. You will participate directly in litigation experiences such as hearings, administrative hearings, depositions, mediations, research, writing briefs, and drafting pleadings. The summer associate should plan to work in the office for hands-on mentoring, although some remote work may be available for research and writing projects.
Preference: 1st, 2nd and 3rd year law students are welcome to apply. Strong oral and written advocacy skills with an understanding of the rules of evidence. Moot court or other trial advocacy program participation is a plus.
